Planetary Alignment & The Stock Market

| Note: This is an exploratory study with limited data. If you have more dates on Venus-Mars conjunctions or planetary alignment dates, please email me. Source of dates are linked in the Nasdaq Table which I tried to confirm by casting horoscopes of New York City at noon using Astrodienst. The closing prices on the DJIA and Nasdaq were obtained from Yahoo's Historical Prices. Is it a coincidence that the Nasdaq decreased almost the same (-7.5%) in the last two planetary alignments in 2000 and 2002? More data are needed before these trends are used for stock investments. A greater joy may be found linking the planetary alignments to stories in Greek mythology. |
