Bazaar Dreams

From a galaxy far away binary stars guide me to
Ursa Major where I locate the lodestar Polaris and
giant quasars pulsate me to sleep— to a bazaar in
Arabia where Cambodian dancers sway to cobras
and sitars of Ravi Shankar and Ali Baba while in
Dharmasala the Dalai Lama teaches me Buddha's
mantra as Degas and Renoir paint it all, I awake
chanting Finnegans Wake's quarks on my lips.
