| Preface: On Saturday, October 1, 2011, I arrived at Foothill College Krause Center for Innovation in Los Altos Hills at 12:20 pm. Snapped a photo of a "Feather Cloud" above the hills. Later while waiting at the Bus Stop near Parking Lot #4, there were numerous beautiful clouds that I took 11 more photos before boarding Bus #40 at 4:50 pm. After getting off the bus on San Antonio Road, I took three more photos before going into Los Altos Library (5 pm). The next day on my way to Stanford University, I took three photos at the Target Parking Lot (Showers Drive, Mountain View). Not knowing the scientific names of these clouds, I've given them animal names based on the images appearing to me. Readers may found other images in these clouds that escaped my attention. Feedback is welcomed. Note: Was returning Gavin Pretor-Pinney's Cloud Collector's Handbook (2011) to the Los Altos Library while seeing these clouds. |
